An elegant large house of the XVIII century, located very near the Old Square, opens its doors transformed into a welcoming hostelry: the Beltrán de Santa Cruz Inn, where the suggestive combination of modern and old elements is a reason that exalts the originality of its attractiveness design.

The property, built by Gabriel Beltrán of Santa Cruz's progenitors, first Count of San Juan de Jaruco, later on belonged to descending of the illustrious Marquis of Cárdenas de Bello Monte. Here it was entertained the most distinguished characters that visited the city, among them to the baron Alejandro of Humboldt, eminent German scientist, and to three French princes: the Count of Beaujolais and the Dukes of Montpensier and of Orleáns, who then became the King Luis Felipe I of France.
