The waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea that bath each contour of the 5 746 kilometers of coasts of Cuba ,and those more than 4 000 keys and islands that surround it, motivate every year to go to them to thousands of crafts and millions of people.

Almost always the weigh tides, the absence of strong currents, and a temperature above the 24 degrees are the cause of the prevalence in the region of a gentle atmosphere that propitiates the approach from the man to a suitable environment for the seafaring walks, the practice of the different nautical sports, the diving, the fishing and the sea baths.

Of 70 000 square kilometers is the area of the available Cuban insular platform for the development of these activities, scenario in which appear more than 300 beaches, of 200 bays, funds very well preserved, and an extensive and exuberant coralline reef.
