During the last years, the central Cuban province has received circuit tourism for the most part, attracted by the narrow linking of its capital city with the legendary major guerilla Ernesto's figure Ché Guevara who liberated decisive combats there in the final stage of the fight for the definitive national liberation in the twilights of December of 1958.
Santa Clara is a neat and calm city, been founded in 1689 and that has, in the Memorial Museum erected the Ché Guevara and her fallen partners in combat in Bolivia, the theater La Caridad (1885) and the Leoncio Vidal park, places that deserve to be known. It counts, also, with the advantage that its own geographical position grants it, placing it to 267 kilometers of City of Havana, 74 of Cienfuegos, 207 of Varadero and barely 88 of Trinidad.

From Caibarién, surrounded town of fishermen of deep waters in those that important lobster hatcheries exist, a railcar on the sea of more than 48 kilometers of extension it connects to mainland with the keys of the north, in two of those which: the Witches (that counts with a small aerodrome) and Santa María already exists magnificent lodging facilities.
The last one of these, baptized as the white rose of the Jardines del Rey(Gardens of the King), hardly has 13 kilometers of longitude, almost the entirety of which are constituted by excellent beaches of fine white sand, dilutes limpid, calm and transparent, and whose funds
-Where coralline formations and a great diversity of submarine species are plentiful - they invite to the practice of the diving and the submarine picture.
In the own environment of the north key parts of Villa Clara is possible to find interesting proposals for the lovers of the nature tourism; of the archaeology, in the caves Pelo de Oro or that of the Muñeco; or to plan trips to the near lighthouse Caiman Grande and the ship with honey San Pascual, an authentic relic of the naval industry.
Other attractiveness with which Villa Clara counts are the lake Hanabanilla, one of the biggest artificial reservoirs of the built country to the mountainous foot of the solid one of the Escambray and where it exists a flora reservation and fauna, and the spa of miner-medicinal and thermal waters of Elguea.
