The Ambos Mundos Hotel, building of eclectic architecture built at the end of the decade of twenty in last century, is an intimate and welcoming place that stands out for its interesting history. At the beginning of the years thirty the North American writer Ernest Hemingway stayed in the hotel, during his stay he wrote the first chapters of his novel For Whom the Bells Toll, because he said that this it was a good place to write. At the moment the writer's room is conserved with its memories and the restaurant Plaza de Armas makes his favorite meals. To this it is added, the wonderful Roof Garden, located in the last floor of the hotel, with an exquisite barbecue and the best look from the heights. Its central location transforms it into an excellent place to admire the values of the old part of the city. |
