The coralline reefs, next to the Cuban coasts, among them the most extensive coralline formation in the island, are ideal for the diving to little depth and the snorkeling, although it can also be practiced in the Cuban insular platform the wall diving, in caverns, sunken ships and channels.

Thanks to a horizontal visibility that oscillates between the 20 and 30 meters, the divers will be able to appreciate with easiness the magnificent state of preservation of the marine funds of the archipelago, qualified as one of the best ecosystems in the Caribbean and of the planet, the great variety of multicolored fish, corals of enormous size, gorgonians, sponges, hedgehogs, octopi, sea stars, crustaceans and many other species that inhabit this submerged paradise.

The diving centers offer a varied program of activities that include from the initiation courses or resort for applicants for divers, until courses of advanced or specialized, and of instructors.

For it, the facilities and some hotels have the equipment and the resources that the international standards demand for the immersions, the exploration, the life on board and the preservation of the human health.
