The Ministry of the Light Industry is the organism in charge of directing, to execute and to control the politics of the State and the Government as for the activities of:

1. The textile production, of garments, of the leather and graphic
2. The soap production and perfumery, wooden furniture, wooden packs, paper converters, cardboard and Bristol board, production of objects of mud, pottery and porcelain and production of other metallic products
3. The production of plastic articles, of art articles and other objects of cultural destination are related fundamentally with the personal and domestic use
4. The Ministry of the Light Industry is an organism of the Central Administration of the Cuban State, created by the Law 1210 of June of 1967, 7, in charge of directing, to execute and to control the politics of the State and the Government as for the activities of:
   1. The textile production, of garments, of the leather and graphic
   2. The soap production and perfumery, wooden furniture, wooden packs, paper converters, cardboard and Bristol board, production of objects of mud, flagstone and porcelain.
   3. The production of plastic articles, of art articles and other objects of cultural destination are related fundamentally with the personal and domestic use
