General Dispositions

All the travelers:

• will be able to export everything or part of its belongings like non- accompanied baggage
• will declare before the Customs any article that you/they take with them or like part of its baggage whose export is regulated.
• will be able to export up to a hundred (100.00) pesos national currency and up to two hundred (200.00) of the instrument of payment denominated convertible peso.
• The articles that are pretend to be exported won't be able to have, in opinion of the customs authority, a commercial character.
• The travelers non residents in Cuba will be able to re-export the articles that you/they Imported temporarily and to also export, new or used articles acquired in the country until a value of $1,000.00 pesos. However, in some cases this limit can be superior, like it will be seen next:

Special Dispositions

Tobaccos:

• is authorized the export of up to 23 loose tobaccos, without any other errand or document to present.
• If it seeks to export bent tobaccos above this quantity (23 units) you will be forced to claim original and it copies of the official invoice in the store where you acquire them, and to give the copy in the Customs for where you will abandon the country. The bent tobaccos will be in original containers, with the official qualifications, including the new holographic stamp.

Of not fulfilling the essential requirement of licit acquisition, the product will be confiscated by the Customs.

Art articles that are not patrimonial goods:

These articles will only be able to be exported with the expressed authorization of the National Registration of Cultural Goods. The value of the same ones can be superior at the $1,000.00 authorized.

Goods or objects from museums or of patrimonial value:

There will only be able to re-export goods or objects from museums that have been previously imported for that which the Declaration will be presented, that the Customs certified to its entrance to the country.

Currency and other values:

It will only be allowed the export of convertible currency and other values above the $5,000.00 US:

• If it was previously imported for that which made the Declaration of Value at the entrance of the country will be presented
• If it was acquired permissibly in the country, that which will be proven with the presentation of the corresponding bank document

Books and publications:

The books and other publications with more than 50 years of having published, the copies of Editions R, as well as those coined by libraries or organisms won't be able to be exported.
